Dianne was born and raised here in Calgary, AB. She’s currently an Occupational Therapy student at the University of Alberta and received her undergraduate degree in Community Rehabilitation and Disability Studies from the University of Calgary. Over the past 7 years, she has worked in a variety of settings supporting individuals with disabilities. The majority of her experience has been with children and young adults, supporting them to participate and thrive in inclusive settings, such as school, recreation, and employment. She is a strong advocate for inclusion with a deep belief and passion for supporting individuals with disabilities to live full and valuable lives, included in their community and workplaces. In her free time, she enjoys getting out to the mountains to go hiking, skiing, or just enjoying the great outdoors.
