After graduating with a BA (Hons) in English and a brief stint in digital marketing, Katie started working as an aide for Zoe, an incredible kid and SMILE client. That job was only meant to be temporary, but the friendship grew and now Zo is stuck with Katie forever, probably. It was a happy coincidence when SMILE wanted someone to help create content to celebrate the kids who come here. Strangely, that's exactly where Katie's 2 fields collide. Her time is now split between Zoe and all the new friends she makes at the clinic, as she spends a few days a week buzzing around in sessions, taking videos and pictures, and sharing s-milestones far and wide.
